Whistleblowing Policy

1. Purpose

UnityPath Staffing LTD is committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity, transparency and accountability. This Policy provides a safe process for workers, candidates, contractors, clients or any third party to report concerns relating to:

  • Unlawful or criminal behaviour

  • Safeguarding or welfare concerns

  • Modern slavery or worker exploitation

  • Fraud, bribery or corruption

  • Health and safety risks

  • Serious breaches of company policies

  • Abuse of authority or unethical conduct

Reports made in good faith are encouraged and protected.

2. Scope

This Policy applies to:

  • Employees

  • Temporary workers

  • Agency workers and contractors

  • Candidates seeking work

  • Clients and suppliers connected with UnityPath Staffing LTD

This Policy applies regardless of location or length of engagement.

3. Commitment to Protection

UnityPath Staffing LTD guarantees that:

  • Concerns raised in good faith will be taken seriously and investigated.

  • Individuals reporting concerns will not face dismissal, retaliation, or detriment.

  • Identity will be kept confidential wherever possible.

  • Anonymous reports will be considered.

Retaliation against whistleblowers will result in disciplinary or legal action.

4. What Should Be Reported?

Examples of issues that should be reported include:

  • Abuse, harm, or neglect of vulnerable individuals

  • Exploitation, forced labour, or trafficking indicators

  • Illegal working or fraudulent documents

  • Criminal conduct or financial dishonesty

  • Unsafe working conditions or risk to public safety

  • Harassment, discrimination, or victimisation

  • Serious safeguarding failures or concerns

If you believe wrongdoing has occurred or may occur, report it immediately.

6. Investigation Procedure

Upon receiving a report, UnityPath Staffing LTD will:

  1. Acknowledge receipt (where identity is known)

  2. Assess the nature and urgency of the concern

  3. Conduct a fair and objective investigation

  4. Maintain confidentiality as far as possible

  5. Take appropriate corrective or safeguarding action

  6. Provide feedback where legally permissible

The Company may involve regulatory or safeguarding authorities where required.

7. Malicious or False Reporting

Reports made deliberately false or maliciously may result in disciplinary action.

Reports made honestly and in good faith, even if not proven, will not result in any penalty.

8. Review of Policy

This Policy will be reviewed annually or sooner if regulations or business practices change.
